Chinaplas 2023 Shenzhen took place from April 17th to 20th
in Shenzhen, China.

Despite the global impact of the COVID-19 pandemic,
the exhibition was held as scheduled, indicating a gradual recovery
from the crisis.

However, participating in the exhibition from overseas,
including Japan, has become more restrictive compared
to pre-pandemic times.

It is no longer a visa-free 15-day stay but requires the issuance
of an invitation letter and visa application specifically
for attending the exhibition.

We expected significantly fewer booth visitors from overseas, as it was not comparable to pre-pandemic times. However, our Viscon booth attracted not only a large number of Chinese customers but also many visitors from abroad. The presence of foreigners at our booth surprised people from neighboring booths as well.

Viscon Group has been exhibiting at Chinaplas every year,
except for 2020 when it was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic,
and 2022 when Shanghai underwent a complete two-month lockdown
in April and May.
Viscon Group has maintained its presence at the exhibition since
its participation in the Guangzhou edition in 2015.

As evident in the two photos below, our Viscon booth at Chinaplas has successfully permeated the image of Viscon Green among the attending customers.
In a way, our booth has become a prominent “landmark” within the Chinaplas exhibition venue.

The brand name “日本得水” is well recognized brand in China.
However, the brand name “Viscon Japan” is not widely known among customers in China, just like in any other region outside of China.

“Viscon Japan” is world brand name  except China.
Even in Japan, company name is registered  Viscon Japan 株式会社,
not registered　as  ビスコン ジャパン 株式会社.

“Since its establishment and listing in 2015, Viscon Japan has revolutionized the conventional understanding of viscosity controllers.”

Viscon Japan has received recognition from Asian customers for its strong development capabilities. The company has already obtained two official patents and has two additional patent applications awaiting approval (PAT.P).

As evident in the photo above, Viscon Japan’s new product development and R&D efforts consistently attract attention from competitors
in the industry.
Therefore, it is necessary to maintain discretion and concealment in various aspects, particularly at exhibitions in China.

At Convertech Japan 2023, held in February of this year (2023), a collaboration called “Colorcon Collaboration” was announced, bringing together the centralized control and management capabilities of Taiyo Electric Industry’s color controller and Viscon Japan’s adhesive dispenser. This collaboration, as a new R&D endeavor, has opened up a wide field where iCom viscosity controller can greatly contribute to excellent customers in Japan and Asia, promoting their digital transformation (DX).

Thanks to Viscon Japan’s patented technologies, Turbo Wash and Smart Lubrication System, the issue of unstable viscosity display, which has been a concern with conventional adhesive dispensers, has been resolved.

The centralized control and management, achieved for the first time with a viscosity controller that ensures stable viscosity display and minimizes the risk of malfunctions, is a significant advancement.

Conversely, it is important to note that centralized control and management would have little meaning with conventional viscosity controller that exhibit large fluctuations and unstable viscosity display.

Without patented technologies that address the three major causes of failures in traditional viscosity controller, achieving centralized control becomes less realistic.

The temperature-adjustable viscosity controller system, TempCon,
which enables heating and cooling to raise or lower the ink temperature, has already received positive feedback from customers in China.
