Exhibition Convertech Japan 2023 First Exhibition after the Corona Disaster – Colorcon Collaboration Announcement (Centralized Control and Centralized Management)

The COVID-19 pandemic that began at the end of January 2020 and will probably be written down in the history textbooks of future generations around the world.

I knew the fear of the pandemic in my novels and movies.
But I honestly never expected that in my real life, globally, and for three years like this,I would be forced to live and work in a completely
different way.

On January 22, 2020  when I participated in Convertech Japan 2020 exhibition, which I wrote about in my previous blog, I and Itagaki, R&D
manager of Viscon (Japan) Corporation, returned to Japan  on a plane from Shanghai to Nagoya on January 22.
When I got on the plane to Nagoya, our schedule after the Japan exhibition were :
I (President):  I went to the Bangladesh exhibition via Shanghai.
Itagaki (General Manager):   Scheduled to return to the Shanghai plant
and manage the Shanghai plant as usual.

After 3-4 days back in Japan, the original schedule was completely changed.
The Bangladesh exhibition, which was scheduled to start on February 2, was also postponed.

Then I and Mr. Itagaki were forced to stay in Japan full of year 2020,
because of Covid-19 pandemic.

Mr. Itagaki (R&D Manager): At the end of December 22, 2020,
he will finally be able to move to China.
He is a qualified person who obtains a one-year working visa
every year in China, so he was able to work in China again.
Last year 2022, As you know, April and May are completely
lockdown in Shanghai.

After all, a complete lockdown in Shanghai is unthinkable in Japan.
Naturally, the company was also completely closed.
Employees were also confined to their homes for two months.
Mr. Itagaki, R&D mannager also experienced great hardship and inconvenient life at Shanghai in China in those 2 months.

After three such 3 years of hardlife under the covid-19 pandemic,
Convertech Japan 2023, the first exhibition in Japan for Viscon Japan
after the Corona pandemic, was held from February 2023 to 2 of this year.

Viscon iCom viscosity controller with data communication function, which has already been well known in Japan and overseas,
can now be connected to Taiyo Electric Industry’s Colorcon,
which is widely used by many customers in Japan and overseas.

One week before this exhibition, I and Mr. Itagaki visited  Tsukuba Plant
of Taiyo Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.
And made a final confirmation such as confirmation of the operation
of the collaboration between Taiyo Electric Industry Co. and Viscon Japan.  The announcement of of this collaboration was made in this exhibition.

The Viscon iCom viscosity controller can now be connected to the following
Colorcon of Taiyo Electric Industry that will be installed in the gravure printing machine to be purchased in the future.
So it can be used very conveniently by  many customers we hope.

In this exhibition, Convertech Japan 2023,  We have heard many voices saying that the collaboration between Taiyo Electric Industry and Viscon Japan viscosity controller is convenient and helpful.

At that time, while the government was taking the lead and strongly calling for DX in companies and industries, there were many customers who tried to promote it in conjunction with smart management
infactories.
But the bottleneck problem was actually that only viscosity controllers had not progressed in communication management at all.

The collaboration between Taiyo Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.
and Viscon iCom viscosity controller will be introduced in detail
